We've picked an assortment of comics for all to read! Links from Amazon below.
1. Secret Wars (2015) by Jonathan Hickman
Secret Wars is such an incredible story of insane proportions. It starts off with the world ending incursion, and then what happens next is unfathomable. Doom is the greatest Marvel villain of all time, and it really shows with God Emperor Doom in Secret Wars.

2. Secret Wars (1984) by Jim Shooter
Same name, totally different story. Awesome story with so many characters you know and love, and some going through crazy changes. Doom(again) is the big bad, just as power hungry as before in Secret Wars 1985.

3. Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt by J. M. DeMatteis
Such a psychologically horrifying story, with this being more of a Kraven story than a Spider-Man one. They took a villain looked down on by the Marvel community and gave him such a dark and sad backstory that you have to feel for him. Plus, he's the first villain to "kill" Spider-Man.

4. Infinity Gauntlet by Jim Starlin
The villain we all know and love with the weapon we all know and love, Thanos is at it with his Infinity Gauntlet. While it is similar to the movie that got most of its story from, Infinity Gauntlet has many more characters, plot arcs, and stakes.

5. Spider-Man: Blue by Jeph Loeb
A story about love and loss and love again. This story follows the Gwen Stacy timeline of Spider-Man; however, it isn't exactly the same as just the comics. This goes into the intimate relationships Parker had with his friends, and the one he had with Gwen. This goes over her death in "The Night Gwen Stacy Died", but it is so much more than just a story of loss.

6. X-Men: Dark Phoenix Saga by Chris Claremont and John Byrne
Dark Phoenix Saga follows the X-Men and Jean Grey, and how she gains powers called the Phoenix Force, causing her to be the most dangerous threat to the universe.
7. X-Men: Days Of Future Past by Chris Claremont
For only a 2 issue story, Days Of Future Past has such depth to it. It follows the X-Men as they are threatened with extermination by robots called Sentinels, and how the X-Men overcome them.

8. Marvels by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross
Marvels is a story following a New York City journalist who sees everything happening in the Marvel Universe, but through the eyes of a civilian. From Human Torch vs Namor to the Night Gwen Stacy Died, this covers all the main plot points of the Marvel Universe's Golden Age
9. Daredevil: Born Again by Frank Miller
Getting into this is such a fast start, with Daredevils whole life collapsing in a blink. But as all superheroes do, he doesn't quit, and works to resurrect the life killed by Kingpin.
